The primary calling of the Church is to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). The essence of this commission is not merely to gather large crowds to Sunday gatherings, but to root and establish believers in the faith (Colossians 2:6-7). To this end Church-Link is committed to make available the necessary tools to help facilitate the discipleship process. The Church-Link Discipleship Workspace

The Discipleship Workspace is a tool designed to facilitate the discipleship development process within the church or its individual ministries. The process itself can be defined by each church according to its needs, culture, and theological tradition. Permissions can be set to allow access to the individual undergoing the discipleship process and his or her mentor / partner. Each workspace can be created customized for each individual. By default the workspace contains the following modules:

• Introduction (HTML module)
• My Discipleship Mentor (contact information for the discipleship mentor / partner)
• Discipleship Milestones (a customizable list of recommended milestones to be reached during the discipleship process
• My Journal (an on-line journal entry form)
• Mentoring Calendar (a personal events calendar to schedule discipleship sessions)
• My Links (a personalized links list of resources)
• Additional Resources (an automated links listing of any child pages created for the discipleship process)

The above workspace may be customized to include additional modules and functionality, such as:

• A documents library to store files relevant to the discipleship process
• Audio / video library
• On-line discussion forum
