Equip For Ministry
Minimize

The capacity to raise up new leadership and train people to serve in various capacities is one of the central characteristics of any successful ministry. In fact, equipping the church for ministry is the foremost responsibility of Christian leadership (Ephesians 4:11-12). Church-link can play a vital role in this process, providing a state of the art web based tool-set that facilitates the equipping process.

Leverage the power of the Church-Link tool-set to equip your church for the work of the ministry.

Here are some essential tools that you can utilize in the equipping process:

  • Classroom Workspace
You can use a Church-Link Classroom Workspace as either a repository for materials related to a live session already presented, a place to gather materials for an upcoming session, or a dynamic on-line classroom experience delivered over the web. Classroom Workspaces utilize a combination of available modules to create an eLearning environment that is ideal for the equipping process. A Workspace includes a course description section, announcements list, feedback form, and a list of links to all related individual course sessions. Each course session workspace includes an introduction, an audio / video player (to play back a recorded session), related external links, class notes, discussions, related media, and feedback form. Students may review or test their knowledge using the Course Quiz module (which allows instructors to create custom quizzes). Instructors may utilize the Course Grade Book module as a means of sharing grade information with students. These tools work together in concert to provide a rich, multimedia, interactive on-line educational experience.

  • Upload or link video and audio files with the Media Gallery. Files may be linked from external sites (such as YouTube) or uploaded and stored directly on your web site. You can add categories and keywords for efficient searching, and allow members to rate and share comments on each entry.
  • Publish multi-page, interlinked web content using the Wiki module to create your own on-line “encyclopedia” of relevant ministry content (a la Wikepedia.com)
  • Publish a categorized list of your active ministries, along with contact information and links to ministry spaces.
  • Publish a listing of open ministry opportunities on an internal “ministry job board”
  • Publish a categorized listing of current small groups including contact information and links to group spaces.
  • Assess student progress using custom surveys
  • Solicit student feedback using the Feedback module
  • Publish articles containing relevant training and educational content
  • Publish blog entries on pertinent topics with the feature-rich Blog module
  • Schedule on-line seminars via the Chat module
  • Initiate relevant on-line discussions using the Forums module
  • Create an on-line resource library using the Documents module
